I think ive scratched the front bar already *idiot* ... ahh welll.
Ive got a bunch of LED replacement globed in my R31 i was hoping to swap some over but looks like J31 has some mong tail light bulb ive never seen before.
Hoping to do LED conversion on bits and pieces. I am thinking the fog lights with some LED bulbs would make good day running lights. Since im in QLD and im never going to legitimately use fog lights ... lol
XCarLink is still looking like the most attactive option of getting more up to date tunes fitted as well ... stereo goes so loud in these things ... they just need some more bass.

Post Re: Redline's Grandpa J31
well i gave the maxima its 1st wash today ... all nice and shiney again.
Also removed the mobile phone antenna and all the associated electronics from under the dash and pulled the dealer number plates surround off .... also baby seat is all fixed in now and the usual sunshades on the windows so it really is a family car :) Wouldnt mind one of those mat thingies to protect the back bumper when i putting things in and out of the boot.
Just gotta work out how to polish out the couple marks gumbies have put on the bumpers. I have a bunch of polish products around but i think they are all 'coating' type ones not 'cutting back' type ones ... any suggestions on a budget fix ?

try some Meguiars Scratch X 2.0, if that fails try some Meguiars Ultimate Compound. a random orbital buffer would also help, or just a lot of elbow grease... :D

only one product for the job!! FW1 and elbow grease! if it can get sand paper marks out of my black paint where i had to sand the badge mark out... then its good in my books!
