 Rear Spring replacement, easy/hard?
Hi Everyone, Just wondering if anyone has had any experience replacing the rear suspension (springs only) of an A32 Maxima. Just wondering whether I might be able to do it myself and save a couple of dollars. - Muznutz

 Re: Rear Spring replacement, easy/hard?
Not to bad - depends on how mechanically minded you are. You need some spring compressors. (i think i got mine for ~30$ from super cheap). A breaker bar or mallet w/ quality spanner might be required to remove the lower strut bolt.
Any reason as to why you are only changing the rears? also, it's a good opportunity to change the shock (rear shocks don't last anywhere near as long as the fronts)

 Re: Rear Spring replacement, easy/hard?
Need to change them because it is really sagging in the back cause it is running on LPG (tank is in the boot). Also got a tow bar which scrapes badly when i have a full tank of LPG. Also is bad when towing a trailer or even having something heavy in the boot. Shocks seem to be ok.

 Re: Rear Spring replacement, easy/hard?
what springs are you going to put in the back to compensate for the sag?

King springs. They will bring it back to the standard height and be a bit stronger than the nissan ones.
